The band that was Architectural Metaphor strove to create music that sounded like particles obtaining mass, like the sound of creation itself. When we let go of the need to control each other's sounds and hook into a groove, those were some of the best moments of my life. My role was to sing from a place of inner bliss that tapped into a certain cosmic force. The drums were not so much meant to be a clock for everyone else as they mimicked the workings of natural sounds such as thunder and the colliding of celestial bodies. I was pleased with the release of "Creature From The Velvet Void" which is still absolutely worth listening to if you can get it. So dust off those headphones and relax.

Interview with Paul Eggleston - 1997
Recent infos about the band Greetings space people. This is Deb Young calling, formerly of the band known as ArcMet. If anyone has any tapes of live shows they would like to send me that would be fab. I had to cut the chord, so to speak, last summer.
